Drawing at the NGV - Stieglitz

Today's assignment was to draw from a photograph in the exhibition called '101'.

The exhibition was made up of photgraphs from the Studio run by Stieglitz.

I chose to draw Paul Strand's "City Hall" 1915.

I want to learn to draw figures, and this was a good exercise.

Marco Luccio's Opening

Attended Maro Luccio's exhibition opening. I found his prints of New York very inspiring. In particular I enjoy the strong gestural style he uses in his prints. It was great to see some familiar NYC landmarks too.

Photograms

Here is one of my first photograms. This is a really exciting way to make 'photos without a camera'. Now I know how to upload images (I think) there will be lots more as I explore this medium.
